WELCOME TO PROTEIN ANTIGEN DATABASE

Our Current Focus

Protein Antigen Database focuses on understanding the protein antigens found in Streptococcus pneumoniae to work towards a potential novel pneumococcal vaccine to combat illness caused by this disease. This database looks to collate and log information on protein antigens that are currently being investigated as vaccine candidates as well as proteins that show promising signs of potential to take further! In doing this we aim to help develop pneumonia detection methods, vaccine development and help improve lives.
